Lab Boy Games (“we,” “us,” or “our”) develops interactive fiction games for iOS and Android. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what limited technical information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used when you install or play our games.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, payment information, or any other personally identifiable information.

1. Install Tracking
When you install one of our games, we record the installation event using an anonymous device identifier provided by your operating system (iOS or Android). This identifier is used solely to:
- Understand how many devices have installed a game
- Measure the performance of any promotional campaigns we may run
- Prevent duplicate install counts
This identifier is not linked to your name or any other personal information, and it is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
2. Push Notification Tokens
If you grant permission for push notifications, your device’s push notification token is transmitted to and stored on our servers. We use this token exclusively to send you alerts about:
- New chapter releases for games you have installed
- Significant game updates
You may withdraw permission for push notifications at any time through your device’s notification settings. If you do, your push token will no longer be used to contact you.
What We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or any contact information
- Your location or GPS data
- Gameplay behavior, session length, or in-game choices
- Device contacts, camera, or microphone data
- Any information from your other apps
Data Retention
Anonymous install records are retained for analytics purposes and are not tied to individual users. Push notification tokens are retained for as long as our game remains installed on your device. If you uninstall a game, the associated token becomes inactive and is removed from our systems on a regular purge cycle.
Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services (such as Apple Push Notification Service or Google Firebase Cloud Messaging) to deliver push notifications. These services operate under their own privacy policies. We do not share any personally identifiable data with these services.

Children’s Privacy
Our games are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information to us, please contact us and we will promptly address the concern.

- Push notifications: You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.
- Install tracking: On iOS, you may limit ad tracking via Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android, you may opt out via Settings > Privacy > Ads.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the applicable app listing on the App Store or Google Play, and the “Effective Date” above will be updated accordingly. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
